Coyotes welcome Kings for home-and-home finale

(Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Phoenix Coyotes will aim for a home-and-home sweep of
the Los Angeles Kings when they host the finale tonight at Jobing.com Arena.
The series between these Pacific Division foes began in Los Angeles on Friday
and the Coyotes were able to notch a close victory in that contest. The win
ended a two-game slide for Phoenix.
Shane Doan's power-play marker in the late stages of the second period proved
to be the game-winner and lifted the Coyotes to a 2-1 win over the Kings at
the Staples Center.
Doan also set up Peter Mueller in the first period, while Ilya Bryzgalov was
sensational between the pipes for Phoenix, stopping 24 shots for the Coyotes.
Doan has had great success against the Kings in his career, posting 56 points
(22 goals, 34 assists) in 66 career outings against LA. Bryzgalov has also
feasted on the Kings with an 8-2-1 record in 12 lifetime games against Los
Angeles.
Peter Harrold found the back of the net for Los Angeles, which has dropped
five of its last six games. Jonathan Quick was solid for the Kings, making 24
saves.
The Coyotes are currently tied with Anaheim for a distant second place in the
Pacific Division. San Jose is leading the division with 57 points, while
Phoenix and the Ducks each have 39 points.
The Kings, meanwhile, are fourth in the Pacific with 34 points.
Phoenix is 2-0 against the Kings this year and has won eight of the last 10
meetings in the series. LA has also struggled mightily in the desert, losing
seven of eight and 11 of its last 13 trips to Phoenix.
The Coyotes are 11-4-2 as the host this season, while the Kings are just 4-8-0
as the visiting club.

Since coming over from the 76ers, Webber has averaged 13.1 PPG and 7.3 RPG and the Pistons are 11-4. Even though the defending champion Heat are currently on the playoff making cusp, they are the Eastern Conference team that is getting the most action to win it all (9-1). The fact that Shaquille O’Neal is back in the starting lineup after missing 39 games probably has something to do with this. No doubt, Shaq makes a difference when in the lineup as their winning six out of their last seven would indicate.
